A hand-knotted Persian Gabbeh accent rug. This wool pile rug has a foundation woven from the softer undercoats of goats and camels, and it is rendered in a variegated palette of cream, sepia, wine, and wheat. The cream toned field features not often seen zigzag design vertically to the field in alternating colors, while framed in a sepia and cream colored laleh abbasi border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a goat, and camel hair warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
